Peugeot 308: Removing - refitting : Canister

ESSENTIAL : Observe the safety and cleanliness recommendations .

ESSENTIAL : All personnel carrying out work on a vehicle fitted with traction batteries must have received specific electric vehicle training and be authorised to work on these vehicles(observe the regulations in force in the respective country).

1. Preliminary operations

Place the vehicle on a 2-post lift .

MHEV DRIVE TRAIN

Remove :

• The rear right-hand mud guard
• The rear right-hand wheel

2. Removing

Uncouple the fuel vapour pipes (2)(at "a").

Remove the nuts (3).

Unclip the canister ‎ (1)(at "b").

Remove the canister (1) (In the direction of the arrow ).

3. Refitting

CAUTION : Observe the tightening torques.

MHEV DRIVE TRAIN

Tightening torques :

• Components of the fuel circuit
• Wheels

Refit the canister (1).

Reclip the canister ‎ (1)(at "b").

Refit the nuts (3).

Couple up the fuel vapour pipes (2)(at "a").

4. Additional operations

MHEV DRIVE TRAIN

Refit :

• The rear right-hand mud guard
• The rear right-hand wheel
• The vehicle to its wheels
