Peugeot 308: Maintenance : Passenger compartment air treatment

ESSENTIAL : Observe the safety and cleanliness recommendations .

ESSENTIAL : All personnel carrying out work on a vehicle fitted with traction batteries must have received specific electric vehicle training and be authorised to work on these vehicles(observe the regulations in force in the respective country).

ESSENTIAL : All personnel working on vehicles with a fuel cell stack must have completed the STELLANTIS training courses required to work on these vehicles(observe the regulations in force in the respective country).

1. Workshop equipment

Passenger compartment Purifying treatment.

2. Method of treatment

2.1. Preliminary operation

Remove the pollen filter .

2.2. Vehicle configuration

Vehicle configuration :

• Place the vehicle in a protected area (out of wind, sun, etc.)
• Engine running
• Doors and windows closed

Configuration of the air conditioning controls :

• air conditioning : Button A/C in stop position
• Blower : Maximum position (repeat on the control panel)
• Air distribution : All flaps open
• Mixing : Maximum cooling position
• Air entry : Recycling

2.3. Injection of the product into the passenger compartment air intake

Refer to the instructions for use of the product used.

Inform the customer of the olfactory result of the treatment.

2.4. Additional operation

Refit the pollen filter.

N.B. : If replacement of the pollen filter proves necessary, suggest this to the customer.

3. Result to be achieved

The passenger compartment should have a scent conforming to that indicated on the product (Example : Vanilla scent ).
