Peugeot 308: Initialisation procedure : Sunroof reduction motor

ESSENTIAL : Observe the safety and cleanliness recommendations .

ESSENTIAL : All personnel carrying out work on a vehicle fitted with traction batteries must have received specific electric vehicle training and be authorised to work on these vehicles(observe the regulations in force in the respective country).

1. Programming of the system

CAUTION : The programming procedure must be carried out before the sunroof is used (following fitting on the vehicle, if necessary, or following any mechanical or electronic work on the sunroof).

N.B. : The safety auto-reverse system is not active during the initialisation and programming procedures, however, a mechanical safety system is active during the programming cycle (in the case of a point of resistance close to the locked torque, of off-sets of the positions, etc.).

2. Replacement : Sunroof - Sunroof motor

CAUTION : Follow the order indicated.

Position the opening glass window in the closed position.

Keep the sunroof control pressed for at least 10 seconds (Raising control ).

The opening glass window opens a few millimetres then closes (The opening glass window is then initialised ).

Release then apply another sustained press on the sunroof control (Less than 6 seconds following the initialisation ).

The opening glass window opens and shuts completely.

Release the pressure when the opening glass window is closed (Sunroof initialised - Learning carried out ).

CAUTION : If the control is released during the programming cycle, the opening glass window will stop and will not operate until a further initialisation and further programming is carried out.
