Peugeot 308: Checks after repair : Suspension geometries

ESSENTIAL : Observe the safety and cleanliness recommendations .

ESSENTIAL : All personnel carrying out work on a vehicle fitted with traction batteries must have received specific electric vehicle training and be authorised to work on these vehicles(observe the regulations in force in the respective country).

N.B. : During a repair, the removal, even partial, or the replacement of certain components can require a check - adjustment of the suspension geometry.

1. Removing - refitting a component

Components requiring a check - adjustment of the suspension geometries (With self-centring front subframe ) :

• Subframe (With removal of the steering mechanism )
• Steering rod
• Steering mechanism
• Steering valve

Components that do not require a check - adjustment of the suspension geometries :

• Subframe (Without removal of the steering mechanism )
• Anti-roll bar
• Rear axle adjustment rod
• Suspension arm
• Steering column
• Damper spring assembly
• Anti-roll bar bearings
• Rear hub carrier
• Front hub carrier
• Rear suspension
• Driveshaft
• " PANHARD" type rear bar

2. Replacement of a component

• Subframe
