Peugeot 308: Removing - refitting : Click-fit unions (Fuel supply circuit )

ESSENTIAL : Observe the safety and cleanliness recommendations .

ESSENTIAL : All personnel carrying out work on a vehicle fitted with traction batteries must have received specific electric vehicle training and be authorised to work on these vehicles(observe the regulations in force in the respective country).

1. Possibility 1

1.1. Removing

Press on the 2 pins (1) simultaneously.

Uncouple the pipe (2) from the click-fit union (3) (In the direction of the arrow ).

CAUTION : The use of tools to press on the 2 pins (1) is prohibited.

1.2. Refitting

CAUTION : Lightly oil the seals ; Using clean engine oil.

Couple the pipe (2) on the click-fit union (3) until the pin (1) comes out.

Press on the pin (1) to lock the click-fit union (3).

Pull the pipe (2) gently to check the locking.

N.B. : The pipe (2) must be fitted in the centreline of the click-fit union (3).

2. Possibility 2

2.1. Removing

Raise the clip (4).

Press(at "a").

Uncouple the pipe (6) from the click-fit union (5) (In the direction of the arrow ).

2.2. Refitting

CAUTION : Lightly oil the seals ; Using clean engine oil.

Couple the pipe (6) on the click-fit union (5) until the pin (4) comes out.

Press on the pin (4) to lock the click-fit union (5).

Pull the pipe (6) gently to check the locking.

N.B. : The pipe (6) must be fitted in the centreline of the click-fit union (5).

3. Possibility 3

3.1. Removing

Press on the clip ( 8).

Uncouple the pipe (7) from the click-fit union (9) (In the direction of the arrow ).

CAUTION : The use of tools to press on the clip (8) is prohibited.

3.2. Refitting

CAUTION : Lightly oil the seals ; Using clean engine oil.

Couple the pipe (7) on the click-fit union (9).

Pull the pipe (7) gently to check the locking.

N.B. : The pipe (7) must be fitted in the centreline of the click-fit union (9).

4. Possibility 4

4.1. Removing

Press on the 2 clips (11) simultaneously.

Uncouple the pipe (10) from the click-fit union (12) (In the direction of the arrow ).

CAUTION : The use of tools to press on the 2 clips (11) is prohibited.

4.2. Refitting

CAUTION : Lightly oil the seals ; Using clean engine oil.

Couple the pipe (12) on the click-fit union (10).

Pull the pipe (12) gently to check the locking.

N.B. : The pipe (12) must be fitted in the centreline of the click-fit union (10).

5. Possibility 5

5.1. Removing

Press on the clip ( 14).

Uncouple the pipe (15) from the click-fit union (13) (In the direction of the arrow ).

CAUTION : The use of tools to press on the clip (14) is prohibited.

5.2. Refitting

CAUTION : Lightly oil the seals ; Using clean engine oil.

Couple the pipe (15) on the click-fit union (13).

Pull the pipe (15) gently to check the locking.

N.B. : The pipe (15) must be fitted in the centreline of the click-fit union (13).

6. Possibility 6

6.1. Removing

Raise the clip (17).

Press on the 2 clips (16) simultaneously.

Uncouple the pipe (19) from the click-fit union (18) (In the direction of the arrow ).

CAUTION : The use of tools to press on the 2 clips (16) is prohibited.

6.2. Refitting

CAUTION : Lightly oil the seals ; Using clean engine oil.

Couple the pipe (19) on the click-fit union (18).

Pull the pipe (19) gently to check the locking.

N.B. : The pipe (19) must be fitted in the centreline of the click-fit union (18).

7. Possibility 7

7.1. Removing

Raise the clip (20).

Press on the clip ( 21).

Press on the clip (21) to uncouple the pipe (22) from the click-fit union (23) (In the direction of the arrow ).

CAUTION : The use of tools is prohibited both for lifting the clip (20) and for pressing the clip (21).

7.2. Refitting

CAUTION : Lightly oil the seals ; Using clean engine oil.

Couple the pipe (22) on the click-fit union (23) (In the direction of the arrow ).

Pull the pipe (22) gently to check the locking.

CAUTION : The use of tools to lock the clip (20) is prohibited.

Press on the pin (20) to lock the click-fit union .

N.B. : The pipe (22) must be fitted in the centreline of the click-fit union (23).

8. Possibility 8

8.1. Removing

N.B. : Use a flat screwdriver with a width between 3 and 3,5 mm.

Insert a flat screwdriver between the pin (25) and the click-fit union (24) (In the direction of the arrow ).

Raise the clip (25) ; Using a flat screwdriver (In the direction of the arrow ).

Press on the pin (25) to uncouple the pipe (26) from the click-fit union (24) (In the direction of the arrow ).

8.2. Refitting

CAUTION : Lightly oil the seals ; Using clean engine oil.

Couple the pipe (26) on the click-fit union (24).

Pull the pipe (26) gently to check the locking.

Press on the pin (25) to lock the click-fit union (24).

N.B. : The pipe (26) must be fitted in the centreline of the click-fit union (24).
