Peugeot 308: Removing - refitting : Charging socket unit

ESSENTIAL : Observe the safety and cleanliness recommendations .

ESSENTIAL : All personnel carrying out work on a vehicle fitted with traction batteries must have received specific electric vehicle training and be authorised to work on these vehicles(observe the regulations in force in the respective country).

1. Preliminary operations

Place the vehicle on a 2-post lift.

ESSENTIAL : Switch the vehicle’s power off .

Remove :

• The rear right-hand wheel
• The rear right-hand mud guard
• The charging flap
• The deflector ‎ under the rear bumper ‎(depending on equipment)

2. Removing

Unclip the electrical harness (at "a").

Remove the nut (1).

Move the earth cable aside(at "b").

Remove the nut (2).

Remove the nut (3).

Unclip the ‎ electrical power harnesses ‎(at "c").

Move aside the electrical power harnesses (4).

ESSENTIAL : Carry out the procedure for disconnecting the electric power circuit connectors .

Disconnect the power connector(at "d").

Unclip the ‎ electrical power harnesses ‎(at "e", "f").

Move aside the electrical power harnesses (4).

Remove :

• The bolts (5)
• The charging socket unit (4)(in the direction of the arrow )

3. Refitting

CAUTION : Observe the tightening torques.

ELECTRIC DRIVE TRAIN

Tightening torques :

• Components of the electric drive train
• Wheels

Refit :

• The charging socket unit (4)
• The bolts (5)

ESSENTIAL : Carry out the procedure for reconnecting the electric power circuit connectors .

Reconnect the power connector(at "d").

Clip the ‎ power harnesses ‎(4)(at "e", "f", "c").

Refit :

• Nut (2), (3)
• The earth cable (at "b")
• Nut (1)

Clip the electrical harness (at "a").

4. Additional operations

Refit :

• The deflector ‎ under the rear bumper ‎(depending on equipment)
• The charging flap
• The rear right-hand mud guard
• The rear right-hand wheel

ESSENTIAL : Switch the vehicle’s power on .

Return the vehicle to its wheels.
