Peugeot 308: Check : Vacuum pump

ESSENTIAL : All personnel carrying out work on a vehicle fitted with traction batteries must have received specific electric vehicle training and be authorised to work on these vehicles (observe the regulations in force in the respective country).

Remove :

• The engine cover
• The union of the turbocharger air inlet

Uncouple the vacuum pipe (1) (at "a").

Connect the tool [1602] and the click-on connector of the tool [0820] (at "a").

Start the engine to run at idle.

Check the vacuum value.

CAUTION : If the value is outside the tolerance ; Check the vacuum pump directly ; Using the tools [1602], [0820] (at "a").

Remove the tools [1602], [0820].

Refit :

• The union of the turbocharger air inlet
• The engine cover

3. Checking values

Check the braking system .

CAUTION : If the value is outside the tolerance ; Check the sealing of the circuit at the link pipes and on the brake servo.
