Peugeot 308: Removing - refitting : Passenger compartment electrical harness

ESSENTIAL : Observe the safety and cleanliness recommendations .

ESSENTIAL : All personnel carrying out work on a vehicle fitted with traction batteries must have received specific electric vehicle training and be authorised to work on these vehicles (observe the regulations in force in the respective country).

1. Tooling

2. Preliminary operation

CAUTION : Perform the operations that are required prior to a disconnection of the ancillaries battery .

CAUTION : In the case of a vehicle with 2 batteries, carry out the specific operations for disconnecting and reconnecting the ancillaries batteries.

Disconnect the ancillaries battery or batteries (depending on equipment).

3. Removing

CAUTION : Note the routing of the electric harnesses .

CAUTION : Unlock the connectors before disconnecting them. When connecting, check the routing and clipping of the electrical harnesses.

CAUTION : Disconnect the connectors without stressing either the harnesses or the connectors (No pulling on the harnesses is permitted).

Remove :

• The front seats
• The rear bench seat
• The interior trims
• The centre console
• The dashboard
• The floor carpets
• The headlining

Disconnect the electrical harnesses of the following components :

• The tailgate
• The built-in systems interface
• The front doors
• The rear door
• The heating unit
• The antenna ADML
• The interior mirror
• The multifunction video camera
• The rain/sunlight sensor
• The roof lateral airbag

Disconnect the connectors of the electrical harness (1).

Unclip ; Using the tools [1350-ZZ] :

• The fasteners of the electrical harnesses (1)
• The electrical harness (1) clamp clips

Remove the electrical harness (1).

4. Refitting

CAUTION : Always replace the damaged fixings.

Proceed in the reverse order to removal.

5. Additional operations

CAUTION : Perform the operations that are required after reconnecting the ancillaries battery .

CAUTION : In the case of a vehicle with 2 batteries, carry out the specific operations for disconnecting and reconnecting the ancillaries batteries.

Reconnect the ancillaries battery or batteries (depending on equipment).

6. Check

Check the operation of the various equipment.
