3. Preliminary operations
Place the vehicle on a 2-post lift.
CAUTION : Perform the operations that are required prior to a disconnection of the ancillaries battery .
CAUTION : In the case of a vehicle with 2 batteries, carry out the specific operations for disconnecting and reconnecting the ancillaries batteries.
Disconnect the ancillaries battery or batteries (depending on equipment).
Remove the protective plate from under the engine.
Drain the hybrid drive train cooling circuit .
Remove :
4. Removing
Disconnect and move aside the connectors (at "a" and "d").
Remove the bolt (2).
Unclip the electrical harness sheathing (1) (at "b") ; Using a small flat screwdriver.
Move aside the electrical harness sheathing (1) (at "c") (In the direction of the arrow ).
CAUTION : Plug the openings using tool [0194-T].
Uncouple the breather pipe (4) (at "f").
Undo the clips (at "e").
Uncouple the water outlet housing hoses (3).
CAUTION : Plug the openings using tool [0194-T].
Uncouple the water outlet housing hoses (5), (6).
Remove the bolts (8).
Detach the electrical power harnesses (7) (In the direction of the arrow ).
CAUTION : Do not use sharp tools or a hammer for any part removal-refitting operation. If the part is dropped or receives a sharp knock, it must be replaced.
Unclip the clip (at "g").
Remove the 4 bolts (10).
Separate the coolant outlet housing (9) (In the direction of the arrow ).
Unclip the electrical harness (at "h").

5. Refitting
CAUTION : Observe the tightening torque values .
CAUTION : Do not use sharp tools or a hammer for any part removal-refitting operation. If the part is dropped or receives a sharp knock, it must be replaced.
CAUTION : Check the positioning of the new seal (11) in its housing (at "j").
Fit the new coolant outlet housing (9) seal (11) (at "j").
CAUTION : Place the coolant outlet housing (9) onto the cylinder head before pre-tightening the bolts (10) (Risk of leaks).
Refit the coolant outlet housing (9).
Manually tighten the 4 screws (10).
Tighten the 4 bolts (10) (diagonal tightening).
Remove the tools[0194-T].
Reclip the clip (at "g").
Refit :
Couple up :
Reclip the clips (at "e").
Couple up the breather pipe (4) (at "f").
Attach the electrical harness sheathing (1) (at "b" and "c").
Refit the bolt (2).
Clip the electrical harness (at "h").
Reconnect the connectors (at "a" and "d").
6. Additional operations
Refit :
Fill and bleed the hybrid drive train cooling circuit .
CAUTION : Perform the operations that are required after reconnecting the ancillaries battery .
CAUTION : In the case of a vehicle with 2 batteries, carry out the specific operations for disconnecting and reconnecting the ancillaries batteries.
Reconnect the ancillaries battery or batteries (depending on equipment).
