Peugeot 308: Location : Cold stamping of the VIN

1. Characteristics of the VIN

The regulation size of the punches for cold stamping is 7 mm.

The VIN consists of 17 characters.

The VIN is always located on the right-hand section of the vehicle.

Depending on the vehicle, the VIN may be stamped on one or two lines.

"a" Original punch.

Each line forming a VIN must have a non alphanumeric character "a" at each end.
