Peugeot 308: Fitting : Engine on stand

ESSENTIAL : Observe the safety and cleanliness recommendations .

ESSENTIAL : All personnel carrying out work on a vehicle fitted with traction batteries must have received specific electric vehicle training and be authorised to work on these vehicles(observe the regulations in force in the respective country).

1. Tooling

Workshop equipment :

• Lifting chain
• Workshop crane

2. Preliminary operations

Position the snap hook [0102-M](at "b").

Support the engine ; Using the workshop hoist and the lifting chain (at "a" and "b").

3. Fitting the engine to the stand

CAUTION : Line up the centreline of the crankshaft and the centreline of the stand [0013].

Put the engine support stand [0013] in place facing the engine.

Fit :

• The engine mounting mandrels [0013-2C](at "c")
• The nuts on the engine mounting mandrels [0013-2C](at "d")
• The nuts(at "e")
• The bolts (at "f")

CAUTION : Check that all the fixings are correctly tightened before detaching the hoist.

Detach the workshop crane and the engine lifting chain.
