Remove the front brake caliper .
4. Repair
4.1. Pillar screws : With 330/283 mm front brake discs
Remove :
N.B. : To refit the protectors (2) ; Use soap to lubricate.
Grease the new pins (1) (sachet provided in the overhaul kit).
Refit :
4.2. Pillar screws : With 304 mm front brake discs
Remove :
N.B. : To refit the protectors (2) ; Use soap to lubricate.
Grease the new pins (1) (sachet provided in the overhaul kit).
Refit :
4.3. Front brake caliper piston : With 330/304 mm front brake discs
(3) Protective seal .
CAUTION : Clean the brake caliper using an approved brake cleaning product.
Remove the protective seal (3).
Put the (new) protective seal (3) in place ; Using the tools [0823-A], [0823-F] and a mallet.
Check the positioning of the protective seal (3).
