Peugeot 308: Removing - refitting : Front and rear door aperture seals

ESSENTIAL : Ensure that the precautions relating to safety and cleanliness are adhered to .

ESSENTIAL : All personnel carrying out work on a vehicle fitted with traction batteries must have received specific electric vehicle training and be authorised to work on these vehicles(observe the regulations in force in the respective country).

1. Preliminary operations

Remove :

• The front pillar ‎ trim ‎
• The front door sill trim
• The centre pillar ‎ upper trim ‎
• The centre pillar lower trim
• The quarter light surround
• The rear shelf trim
• The rear door sill trim

2. Removing

Take down :

• The front door aperture seal (1)
• The rear door ‎(2) aperture seal ‎

3. Refitting

Re-fitting method : The front door aperture seal (1) :

• Start in the corner (at "a")
• Re-seat the front door aperture seal (1) on the front door frame flange ; Using a plastic mallet

Re-fitting method : Rear door entry seal (2) :

• Start in the corner (at "b")
• Re-seat the rear door aperture seal (2) on the rear door frame flange ; Using a plastic mallet

Check :

• The closing of the front and rear doors
• The sealing of the front and rear door seals

4. Additional operations

Refit :

• The front pillar ‎ trim ‎
• The front door sill trim
• The centre pillar ‎ upper trim ‎
• The centre pillar lower trim
• The quarter light surround
• The rear shelf trim
• The rear door sill trim
