Peugeot 308: Removing - refitting : Air inlet manifold

ESSENTIAL : Observe the safety and cleanliness recommendations .

ESSENTIAL : All personnel carrying out work on a vehicle fitted with traction batteries must have received specific electric vehicle training and be authorised to work on these vehicles(observe the regulations in force in the respective country).

1. Replacement of parts in all cases

2. Preliminary operations

CAUTION : Perform the operations that are required prior to a disconnection of the ancillaries battery .

CAUTION : In the case of a vehicle with 2 batteries, carry out the specific operations for disconnecting and reconnecting the ancillaries batteries.

Disconnect the ancillaries battery or batteries(depending on equipment).

Remove :

• The air filter housing
• The motorised throttle housing

3. Removing

Unclip the electrical harness (1)(at "a", "b").

Disconnect the connector(at "c").

Unclip the fuel vapour pipe (at "d").

Unclip the fuel vapour pipe (at "e").

Remove :

• The 4 bolts (2)
• Nut (4)
• The air inlet manifold (3)

Unclip the fuel vapour pipe (5)(at "g").

Unclip :

• The fuel vapours pipe (5)(at "h", "j")
• The fuel vapours pipe (5)(at "f") (In the direction of the arrow )

Remove the seals (6).

4. Refitting

CAUTION : Observe the engine tightening torques .

Clip :

• The fuel vapours pipe (5)(at "h", "j")
• The fuel vapours pipe (5)(at "f")

Clip the fuel vapour pipe (5)(at "g").

Refit :

• The new seals (6)
• The air inlet manifold (3)
• The 4 bolts (2)
• Nut (4)

Clip the fuel vapour pipe (at "d").

Clip the fuel vapour pipe (at "e").

Reconnect the connector (at "c").

Clip the electrical harness (1)(at "a", "b").

5. Additional operations

Refit :

• The motorised throttle housing
• The air filter housing

CAUTION : Perform the operations that are required after reconnecting the ancillaries battery .

CAUTION : In the case of a vehicle with 2 batteries, carry out the specific operations for disconnecting and reconnecting the ancillaries batteries.

Reconnect the ancillaries battery or batteries(depending on equipment).

Removing - refitting : Engine speed sensorRemoving - refitting : Cylinder head (on the vehicle)
