Peugeot 308: Removing - refitting : Engine oil pressure sensor

ESSENTIAL : Observe the safety and cleanliness recommendations .

ESSENTIAL : All personnel carrying out work on a vehicle fitted with traction batteries must have received specific electric vehicle training and be authorised to work on these vehicles (observe the regulations in force in the respective country).

1. Tooling

Workshop equipment : Insulation bag.

2. Parts which must always be replaced

3. Preliminary operations

Place the vehicle on a 2-post lift.

ESSENTIAL : Switch the vehicle’s power off .

4. Removing

Remove the starter motor 48 V .

Disconnect the connector (Press the tab at "a").

Remove the engine oil pressure sensor (1).

N.B. : Protect the surrounding area using a cloth on removal to absorb the oil which flows out of the opening.

5. Refitting

CAUTION : Observe the tightening torques.

Tightening torques :

• Components of the hybrid drive train
• Engine
• Wheels

Refit the engine oil pressure sensor (1) (equipped with a new seal).

Reconnect the connector  (at "a").

Check the engine oil level.

Refit the starter motor 48 V .

6. Additional operations

ESSENTIAL : Switch the vehicle’s power on .

Return the vehicle to its wheels.

7. Check

Check the operation of the various equipment.
