Peugeot 308: Check : Oil pressure

ESSENTIAL : Observe the safety and cleanliness recommendations .

ESSENTIAL : All personnel carrying out work on a vehicle fitted with traction batteries must have received specific electric vehicle training and be authorised to work on these vehicles (observe the regulations in force in the respective country).

1. Location of the automatic gearbox pressure take-offs

2. Tooling

N.B. : The pressure gauge [1529] and the corresponding adaptor can be used in place of the pressure gauge indicated.

Workshop equipment : Diagnostic equipment.

3. Pressure check

Place the vehicle on a 2-post lift.

Remove :

• The front under engine protection
• The bracket of the engine cooling circuit pipes (if necessary)

Move aside the air conditioning pipes (depending on engine).

N.B. : Example of pressure measurement for the clutch "C3".

Remove the cap (7).

Connect :

• The tool [0336-Z / DT-6329]
• The tool [4601-T.F / 0333-F / DT-498-B]

N.B. : Use the guided method in the diagnostic tool .

Start the engine.

Note the line pressure.

Compare the value measured with the reference value recommended in the guided method.

Switch off the engine.

CAUTION : When disconnecting the tools [0336-Z / DT-6329], [4601-T.F / 0333-F / DT-498-B] protect yourself against any splashes of oil using a cloth.

Remove :

• The tool [0336-Z / DT-6329]
• The tool [4601-T.F / 0333-F / DT-498-B]

CAUTION : Observe the tightening torques .

CAUTION : Check the condition of the O-ring of the cap (1) ; Replace it if necessary.

Refit :

• The cap (7)
• The bracket of the engine cooling circuit pipes (if necessary)
• The front under engine protection
• The vehicle to its wheels
