Peugeot 308: Removing - refitting : Park finger locking actuator

ESSENTIAL : Observe the safety and cleanliness recommendations .

ESSENTIAL : All personnel carrying out work on a vehicle fitted with traction batteries must have received specific electric vehicle training and be authorised to work on these vehicles(observe the regulations in force in the respective country).

1. Preliminary operation

CAUTION : Perform the operations that are required before disconnecting the ancillaries batteries .

Disconnect the ancillaries batteries (Following the specific procedure ).

2. Removing

Disconnect the connector(at "a").

Remove :

• The bolts (1)
• The park finger locking actuator ‎ (2)

3. Refitting

CAUTION : Observe the tightening torques .

CAUTION : Check the positioning of the O-ring in the groove of the park finger locking actuator (2).

Slightly lubricate the park finger locking actuator O-ring (2).

Position the park finger locking actuator ‎ (2) so that it lines up with the ‎3 fixing holes on the housing.

Insert the park finger locking actuator ‎ (2) into the housing, applying pressure to hold it in position to compress the park lock module spring.

CAUTION : Maintain pressure on the park finger locking actuator ‎ (2) to hold it in position when pinning and tightening the bolts ‎.

Line up the screws (1).

Tighten the bolts (1).

Reconnect the connector (at "a").

4. Additional operations

CAUTION : Perform the operations that are required after reconnecting the ancillaries batteries .

Reconnect the ancillaries batteries (Following the specific procedure ).

Check the operation of the various equipment.
